CLUB
The Orlando Thunder Water Polo Club was initially founded in 2010 to help water polo players in one high school expand their water polo experience. In 2012 we sent our first athletes to a Division 1 College Team, and in 2013 we had our first All American. In 2015 we opened the door to all high schools and since then have grown our team in numbers and successes.
Now we help athletes from Orange and Lake County acquire the necessary skills to be successful throughout their water polo careers and beyond. The Club will focus on fundamentals and skill development, in an environment that encourages teamwork, perseverance, and a commitment to achieving one’s personal best, providing our players with the foundation necessary to transition into higher levels of play. Ultimately, we hope to instill a love for the game and a healthy appreciation for the hard work it takes to be successful, both as a water polo player and in life.

We believe in providing our players with a quality water polo experience, in a positive and competitive environment.
PHILOSOPHY
At the Orlando Thunder Water Polo Club, we strive to teach our athletes some of the most valuable lessons learned from athletic participation: the pursuit of excellence through personal development and teamwork, ethical and responsible behavior in the pool and outside, leadership, and strength of character, adherence to the spirit of the rules and sportsmanship--respect for one's opponents, acceptance of victory with humility and acknowledgment of defeat with grace.
